WiG - Vienna Alliance for Health Promotion

The Vienna Alliance for Health Promotion in Healthcare Facilities is a voluntary cooperation for the further development and strengthening of health promotion in Viennese healthcare facilities between: The General Accident Insurance Institution (for the Viennese accident hospitals), the Umbrella Association of Viennese Social Institutions, the Health Association of the Austrian Health Insurance Fund, the Board of Trustees of Viennese Retirement Homes, the Association of Austrian Private Hospitals (for the Viennese members), Vinzenz Gruppe Krankenhausbeteiligungs- und Management GmbH (for the Viennese facilities), Wiener Gesundheitsförderung - WiG, Wiener Gesundheitsverbund represented by the General Management, the sub-enterprise University Hospital Vienna and the sub-enterprise Nursing Homes and Geriatric Centers with Sociomedical Care, as well as the Vienna Nursing and Patient Advocacy Association (in an advisory capacity).

The alliance is scientifically supported by the Competence Center for Health Promotion and Health System at Gesundheit Österreich GmbH.
