Austria even more strongly represented at European level.
Stefan Günther, Secretary General of the Austrian Association of Private Hospitals, was appointed as a full board member of the European Association of Private Hospitals (UEHP) at the board election on February 5, 2021. This means that Austria is even more strongly represented in the European interest group of private hospitals.
The UEHP (European Union of Private Hospitals) currently represents 12 associations in Europe with more than 5,000 private hospitals. In addition to Austria, the member countries include Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, Switzerland and Hungary.
The aim of the UEHP is to create political and economic conditions for its members in order to improve the position of private institutions in the healthcare sector throughout Europe.
