Vienna, January 17, 2023: The Döbling Private Clinic will be expanded and extensively modernized by 2026. The foundation stone for the five-storey extension was laid today.
The Döbling Private Clinic, with its adjoining outpatient clinic and surgery center, is already considered the most efficient private clinic in Austria. The clinic will be extensively modernized by 2026 and will gain more space through an extension and conversion. The centerpiece is a five-storey extension, the foundation stone of which was laid today by Peter Hanke, City Councillor for Economic Affairs, Daniel Resch, District Head, Christiane Windsperger, Managing Director of the clinic, Martin Fuchs, CEO of PremiQaMed Holding, and Peter Eichler, CEO of UNIQA Insurance Group, after completion of the civil engineering work, which has been ongoing since March 2022.
More space for the maternity ward, operating theaters with daylight and more single rooms are key elements of the expansion. A photovoltaic system, geothermal energy, green façade sections and a biodiversity garden ensure sustainability in the building project.
