Private clinics regret renewed breakdown of negotiations by vida

The sixth round of collective bargaining for private hospital employees has also ended without a result. Employer representatives have identified a lack of willingness to negotiate on the employee side, which is ultimately to the detriment of employees in private hospitals.

The aim of the employer representatives was to finally reach an amicable collective agreement at the sixth round of negotiations: "vida once again showed no willingness to negotiate at today's meeting, although it had called on us in the media to return to the negotiating table. We have not only repeatedly signaled the employer's willingness to negotiate, but would also have been prepared to implement the previous offers even better in the course of today's negotiations," emphasizes Stefan Günther, General Secretary and KV negotiator of the Association of Private Hospitals. "No solution can be found without a willingness for rapprochement on both sides of the negotiations. In the interests of the employees of our member companies, we deeply regret this renewed breakdown by vida. This means that an agreement has once again been postponed indefinitely, which is ultimately to the detriment of the employees," Günther expressed his concern.
