The Secretary General of the Association of Private Hospitals in Austria, Stefan Günther, has taken on a new role as Treasurer of the European Union of Private Hospitals. The election took place in Paris in the last week of January. This position not only strengthens his influence in the European healthcare sector, but also the representation of Austrian private hospitals at EU level.
Stefan Günther has more than 30 years of experience in service management, primarily in private healthcare companies. He is currently managing director of eight rehabilitation clinics in Austria, representing one of the largest private healthcare providers in the country. He has been Secretary General of the Austrian Association of Private Hospitals for ten years, chief negotiator for collective agreements in the private hospital sector and a member of the Board of Directors of UEHP.
