The ranking is based on an analysis of 1,400 Austrian companies from over 20 sectors. It is published annually by the business magazine trend. Only 5% of companies make it into the top 300 - the Klinikum Austria Group is one of them. It is among the top 5 in the health & social services sector.
The Klinikum Austria Group specializes in rehabilitation medicine. Around 800 employees at 5 locations treat over 10,000 patients per year. They specialize in all relevant fields, such as neurology, orthopaedics, rheumatology, oncology, trauma surgery, cardiovascular, pulmonary and metabolic diseases.
The best of all worlds

This includes flexible working time models and a comprehensive benefits package. The work in a rehabilitation clinic differs significantly from acute medicine. "In rehabilitation, we accompany patients for several weeks on their way back to everyday life. Another key difference to acute medicine is the treatment approach: "In rehab, we work according to the biopsychosocial model. This means that therapists, nursing staff, doctors and psychosocial professionals work closely together," explains Managing Director Stefan Günther. "This interdisciplinary teamwork not only strengthens the quality of patient care, but also the sense of unity and thus the working atmosphere."
In order to meet the individual requirements of the locations, the Klinikum Austria Group also offers company apartments, promotes further education and training, supports research activities and relies on innovative technologies. It also trains specialists at its own massage academy in Bad Gastein.
