With 1,144 newborns in 2021, the Döbling Private Hospital in Vienna has set a new birth record. Despite the pandemic, more children than ever before saw the light of day at the popular Döbling Private Hospital maternity clinic.
During the coronavirus pandemic, many expectant parents are opting to give birth at the Döbling Private Hospital, which is equipped with modern facilities, high safety precautions and a competent team to ensure a birth experience with a family feel-good atmosphere.
Safety first
The highest standards of safety and hygiene are particularly important in times of the coronavirus pandemic. "Especially in times of the pandemic, it is particularly important to us that mother and child feel particularly safe and comfortable with us during and after the birth. We are delighted that our competent and individual care under these safe conditions has convinced so many parents and that we were able to accompany 1,144 babies on their journey into life last year," says Prim. Info evenings as webinars
The Döbling Private Hospital is offering parents-to-be the opportunity to get to know the obstetrics ward and the team in advance. "Since the start of the pandemic, the obstetrics information evenings have been held online. Anyone interested in giving birth in our clinic has the opportunity to take part in a free webinar every other Monday from the comfort of their own home and ask questions to the midwives and anaesthetists via live chat," says Andrea Sandmair-Szerencsi, head midwife. A virtual tour of the obstetrics ward and delivery rooms is also included.
